What's my story?
The last couple years have found me in a very unique situation. I unexpectedly became a caretaker for three beautiful children.
Their loving father Justin, is my life partner and best friend. Together, we have become a close-knit family filled with love, imagination and joy!
I am a preschool teacher with a college education in elementary school teaching. I believe in holistic, mindful and peaceful approaches to parenting and education.
Becoming a parenting figure has been an incredible journey so far, full of ups, downs and everything in between! I created this blog to share the experiences, wisdom and philosophies I have gained through this amazing path.

We encourage imagination and creative play. We believe in cultivating peaceful, positive interactions. We strive to focus our energy on meaningful, engaging relationships. We practice gratitude. Above all, we try our absolute best to be present for each other.
Justin and I love the celebrate life, through the joys of travel, and have taken many of our own trips as well as brought the kids along.
